Braille Signs
Braille Signs are an Irish company specialising in providing Audio, Visual & Accessibility solutions to help create a fully inclusive environment for all. For far too long people with disabilities have been restricted and even excluded, from participating in everyday life due to the poor design used in many buildings. However with equality legislation this is all changing for the better.Braille Signs too has changed. We started out as a signage company manufacturing bespoke Braille & tactile signs compliant with DDA / ADA, BS 8300 and Part M here in Ireland; however in response to a growing need for a one stop shop for accessibility solutions we now provide other services.
Presently we operate in three main areas of accessibility, Braille and tactile signage, Induction Loops & Door Automation.
Our Braille and tactile signs conform to DDA / ADA requirements and are designed and manufactured in accordance with the best practices as laid out in the ‘Sign Design Guide’. They are suitable for the blind, partially sighted and people with learning disabilities such as dyslexia.
Induction loop technology has made life easier for the hard of hearing as it is universally compatible with T-coil hearing aids. Induction loops are regarded as the number one Assistive Listening Technology for most environments. We can supply and install to EN 60118/4 as required in Part M of the building regulations.
The door automation systems we use meet DDA requirements, and are ideal for providing access for the elderly and disabled, or just purely for easy living.
Braille Signs has supplied to the Public Sector, signage companies, libraries, hospitals and to the Commercial Sector.
